The Brothers Grimm fairy tale atmosphere and riddles abound in the exciting adventure Creepy Tale. Accompany Martin on his mission to “another place” and save a stranger from the Quargs’ grasp!
Although young Martin had no desire for adventure, destiny had other ideas. Rather than a tranquil fishing excursion, he will come across Baba Yaga, eerie singing heads, a nasty Quarg race, and a living rock where gnomes harvest gems.
You were dragged to Another Place for a stranger who is in danger. Martin needs your cunning and skill to go past several obstacles, save the girl, and get back home.

Setting and Atmospheric Fear
Some Other Place’s gloomy colour scheme and unpleasant atmosphere define the entire planet. Bright colours are uncommon and startling because the surroundings are dominated by subdued greens, greys, and browns. Horrible war machines prowl the countryside, dismembered limbs are used for environmental puzzles, and corpses litter the backdrop. Because it is death’s domain by nature, gamers will always experience a sense of despair and dread on every screen.
Gameplay and Puzzles
The game offers a fair, approachable combination of reasoning and deduction rather than relying on tiresome guesswork. Sensible experimentation is often required to solve puzzles, such as properly brewing ingredients in a cauldron or utilising a magical artefact (ring) to sprout and decay radishes. The controls are quite simple, and instead of letting players stumble, the game softly provides useful hints if they become stuck.
Characters and Story
Martin had several unexpected interactions with the peculiar inhabitants of this parallel reality during the quest. Players will engage with a varied ensemble that includes menacing tree spirits (“leshy”), sleeping stone trolls, and swamp-dwelling women who need foot rubs. To eventually sail back to safety, players must outsmart dangerous creatures like the meaty, tentacled “kvargs” and their war machines. The underlying storyline is a sombre warning.
