A full native substitute for the conventional Dock is DockDoor Pro. With live window previews, customizable profiles, widgets, and a distinctive “Liquid Glass” appearance, the app totally reimagines the app drawer experience.

Features of DockDoor Pro:

  • Previews of live windows
    Any running application’s icon will display live thumbnails of all of its active windows when you mouse over it. You can exit the program without opening it, close it right away, minimize it, or maximize it to half or quarter of the screen.
  • Wave-effect magnification
    Hovering over an icon causes it to progressively increase, producing a “wave” effect that spreads to nearby icons. The animation is completely configurable and works with the refresh rate of your monitor (ProMotion).
  • App bundles and folders
    In the Dock, pinned folders open into a handy panel (list or grid). To conserve space, you can also combine several apps into a single icon.
  • The extended context menu
    You can minimize/show all windows, close all, restart, force quit, or run a saved command when you right-click on an application icon. These options are not available in the regular Dock.
