Fedora is a well-known GNU/Linux distribution that is backed by the community and sponsored by Red Hat. A soft fedora is the source of its name.

Fedora comes on Live CDs for each of its numerous flavours (such as netinstall for network installation) and Live DVD ISO images for installation.
