With iCloud encryption, Uplock is a safe place to save private information.
Important personal data, like passports, driver’s licences, credit cards, health insurance policies, licences, and other private documents, are stored and arranged by Uplock. Designed as a “trusted home for your most sensitive data”, the software syncs with iCloud and functions on all Apple devices.
Features:
- End-to-end encryption: Using regular iCloud security, all data stored in Uplock is secured both on the device and in iCloud. Data becomes fully end-to-end when Advanced Data Protection for iCloud is activated.
- No tracking: There are no third-party libraries, SDKs, trackers, or analytics in the Swift-only app. Uplock exclusively uses iCloud and doesn’t connect to its own servers.
- Authentication: Facilitates device passcode, Touch ID, optic ID, and Face ID unlocking.
- Total privacy: To use the app, you don’t need to register or provide an email address. Users’ information is not gathered by the creators.
Data kinds and organisation:
- Pre-made templates: A variety of data kinds, including driver’s licences, credit cards, passports, ID cards, insurance, documents, medical records, gift cards, certificates, software licences, memberships, rewards cards, secrets, and secure notes, have pre-established categories in the app.
- Attachments: Any post can have images, PDFs, or other materials attached to it.
- Public Groups: With the ability to provide view-only or edit access, you may establish groups to safely share information with loved ones.
- Import and Export: Data in open formats like CSV and plain text may be imported and exported with ease.
- Reminders: For significant dates, such as the expiration of a card or ID card, you can set reminders.
