Viper FTP, originally called ViaFTP, is a straightforward macOS FTP client that makes it simple to manage and transfer files from a variety of remote servers.
Most common file transfer protocols are supported. Viper FTP makes it easy to upload, retrieve, and edit documents from FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, and Amazon S3 servers. You may connect to your YouTube account and upload videos with ease using Viper FTP.
The context menu in Viper FTP gives you access to a wide range of tools and functions, including the ability to open a selected file with the preferred application; open items in a new window; avoid duplicating, renaming, deleting, or creating aliases for any particular file; calculate the size of a directory; edit text-based files using TextEdit; pack or unpack an archive and make the necessary changes to files and folders; check the file list; monitor connections; collapse folders; and much more.
Additionally, you can use the Apple Mail app to share items with Viper FTP. You may easily connect or disconnect from the server, enter an FTP command, download a chosen file, and modify the transfer type using the Remote Viper FTP menu. In addition to customising the notification system according to your preferences, Viper FTP lets you select the program that opens CSS or other file types.
Time-Saving Features;
- Protocol Support & Integrations: It is compatible with all of the main transfer protocols, such as WebDAV, FTP, SFTP, and FTPS. Additionally, it interacts seamlessly with well-known cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive, and Amazon S3.
- Folder Observer (Watcher): This program connects a local Mac folder to a distant location. Local files that are uploaded, changed, or removed are automatically synchronised in the background to keep your servers up to date without interfering with your work.
- Batch Uploads: With just one click, you can quickly group several servers together and upload your files and folders to each one.
- Media Previews & Security: The program lets you use robust AES-256 encryption to encrypt or decrypt certain local files. Additionally, you don’t need to download documents, music, or video files in order to see them immediately within the interface.
- Fast Sharing: Using the macOS Mail app, users can quickly transform remote files and folders into HTTP/HTTPS addresses and share them right away.
