Controls for Core Shaping
The plugin separates your audio into two basic parts: the body (the sustain) and the transient (the first hit). To add snap, you can simply increase or decrease the percussion elements’ assault, or you can extend the sustain to give the impression that a thin sound is thicker. While a mix knob enables instantaneous parallel processing, a specialized sensitivity knob enables the plugin to precisely focus on minor notes or strong peaks.
Flexibility in Tone and Multiband
The CPU moves from full band to multiband mode for detailed operations, isolating particular low, mid, or high frequencies via tilt filters. This allows you to add a high-end snap to a snare independently while tightening boomy sub-bass. The transient and body portions can also be independently brightened or darkened using the integrated tone section.
Astute Clipping and Graphics
Arturia incorporated a built-in soft/hard clipper to manage aggressive volume peaks. By doing this, you can drive the signal for saturation and harmonic warmth without using harsh digital clipping. All of this is combined with a simplified graphical user interface (GUI) that provides real-time visual feedback, eliminating uncertainty in dynamic shaping and maintaining a fast workflow.
